The nearest domestic airport is the airport in Delhi but Phool Bagh is also an airport situated about 72 kms. from Nainital. By Train
Kathgodam, located just 34 kms. from Nainital is the nearest rail-head. From the railway station, there are many local cabs and buses that ply to Nainital, daily and at regular intervals.

Nainital is connected to the near-by cities with an extensive road network. You can reach Nainital by road from Delhi (310kms.), Haldwani (40kms.) or Dehradun (300kms.).
