The weather in Corbett is pretty humid. During
summers the temperature varies from 19 degree Celsius to 45 degree
Celsius, while during the winters it stays between 2 degrees and 25
degrees Celsius.
The climate of the Corbett Park is perfect for the many types of flora
and fauna that it has. The Corbett distinctively has three seasons: cold
(November - February), hot (March to June), and rainy (mid June to
October).
The climate of Corbett is generally humid throughout the year, with
relative humidity touching as high as 98% during the monsoon season. It
rarely goes down below 57% mark. 'Dadu', a local wind blows down the
valley from 9p.m to 8a.m, which lowers the night temperatures
significantly. On the other hand, during the summer season, it is
followed by a hot wind from 10a.m to 8p.m which makes the temperatures
almost unbearable.
During this season, as a result of the winds, a thick haze of suspended
dust develops and is cleared by the thunderstorm that hits the park
during the monsoon season.
