Devaria Tal is situated near Ukhimath in Uttarakhand. It is considered a very holy place. A trek of a couple of kilometres takes the visitor to this wonderful lake which lies quietly between the magnificent mountains that surround it. It is spread over 700 metres and is surrounded by the beautiful Chaukhamba peak.
With forests all around the lake, it is an ideal place for bird watchers or for those who love angling. One can also reach Devaria Tal after a trek of about 8 kms. but, do keep in mind that this is a very steep trek that can really tire you out.
On the trek towards Devaria Tal, you will come across amny beautiful small river streams, some rough roads and some gorgeous surroundings. It is situated at such a place where nature seems to be at its best. It is surrounded by some lush green forests and some dense woodlands.
However, there is a motorable road that leads to Devaria Tal in case you do not want to take the long route but we would always recommend you take the trek simply because of the beauty of the route.
