Day 01: Arrival Paro
On the first your Bhutan trip, you would arrive in Paro, a beautiful
valley known for its rich terraced farmland. Our local representative
would welcome you there and escort you to Kichu Resort, where you would
spend your night.
Day 02: Paro, Simtokha Dzong
After your breakfast, you would get to pass some delightful time in
Paro. You are taken to Drukgyal Dzong, the ruined fort, and Ta Dzong,
the National museum. You have your lunch then and leave for Thimphu via
road. We would stop en route to visit 17th century Simtokha Dzong,
located on a lofty ridge. It houses the school for Buddhist studies. In
Thimphu, you will stay for night at Hotel Druk or Hotel Riverview.
Day 03: Thimphu, Wangdiphodrang
You have plenty of Thimphu sightseeing on the third day of your trip.
You visit the Memorial Chorten, Tashichhodzong, Painting School and
National Library prior to lunch. In the afternoon, you drive to
Wangdiphodrang via Dochula Pass, located at the height of 3050m, while
soaking in the delightful scenic view. You would spend the night at
Kichu Resort, Wangdi.
Day 04: Punakha Dzong, Paro
You spend your morning enjoying visit to Punakha Dzong. Thereafter you
drive to Wangdiphodrang where you have your lunch. You then drive back
to Paro and spend the night at Kichu Resort.
Day 05: Departure Paro
You would be transported to the Paro Airport where you would board your
return flight.
