Day 01: Arrival Paro
You can see imposing mountains and valleys as your plane zooms over
Bhutan. When it lands at the Paro Airport, our representative welcomes
you and takes you to Kichu Resort, where you pass the night.
Day 02: Paro
The day is dedicated to Paro sightseeing. You tour Drukgyal Dzong, the
devastated fortress, Ta Dzong, the National Museum and Takshang View
Point, also known as the Tiger's Nest. For night, you return to Kichu
Resort in Paro.
Day 03: Simtokha Dzong, Thimphu
You leave for Thimphu, the Bhutanese Capital. En route you would see
Simtokha Dzong, located on a lofty ridge. Built in 1627, it houses the
school for Buddhist studies. The night is spent at the Hotel Druk or
Riverview in Thimpu..
Day 04: Thimphu
You would spend most of your day in Thimphu sightseeing which would
include tour to Memorial Chorten, Tashichhodzong, the Painting School
and National Library. Post lunch, you would be driven to Wangdiphodrang
via Dochula Pass, located at the height of 3050m. The place is known for
fine bamboo work and its slate carvings. You spend the night at Kichu
Resort, Wangdi.
Day 05: Punakha Dzong
The morning would be spent in the sightseeing of Punakha Dzong. Post
lunch, you would be driven to Wangdiphodrang, which is almost on the
same elevation as Punakha Dzong. You would be driven back to Paro and
pas your night at Kichu Resort.
Day 06: Departure Paro
You would be transferred to Paro Airport where you would catch your
return flight.
